  1. Looks like that Speak and Spell you bought for your Michael for his sixth birthday has really paid off. He will be goggling and tinter webbing with the best of them. I got told I was a ‘Silver Surfer’ yesterday in Argos because I was using one of those keyboard thingy’s. My Bri was in hysterics, he thought they meant like those men in that Hawaii five oh. He nearly dropped all of the free pencils he had picked up.

  2. The book is the Tractatus Logico-Philisophicus, not the other way round. If you have the time it’s definitely worth a read, however dense the material is due to it’s presentation.

    • Trust me to get it cockwards way on. Although why on earth he had to do the title in ruddy Latin, the Lord alone knows. I thought it was presented alright though, and it kept me entertained, but to be honest, I much preferred his “philosophical investigations” myself. And so did he, as far as I know.

      • From the Tractatus to the Blue and Brown Books (which, ultimately, we owe to GEM Anscombe) to the Investigations, it’s very interesting to see Wittegenstein’s thought develop -and what he later came to all but disavow.

You are allowed to comment... I don't ruddy bite, you know...
